Portfolio > Childhood Series

This series began in graduate school and continued through a subsequent fellowship in England. They represent the first real attempt at a new kind of pictoral realism in relation to memories and childhood. By developing a way to simplify and isolate the imagery, I worked toward a cleaner concept of a realistic space or moment. Despite their first appearance as being some type of alternate reality, they are merely edited and combined versions of the real one.
